Sales First, Then Scale

Business Begins With Risk A few days ago, I met a young boy during an interview. He told me: “Chitrakbhai, I’m very passionate. I really want to join real estate. I’ll do whatever you say. I want to build my career in this field.” I liked his attitude, so I said — “Let’s start simple. I’ll give you 3 months. Try to sell this property. If you do it, I’ll guide you to the next step and offer a strong role.” He paused. Then said — “Sir… I can’t commit. What if I don’t sell it?” That one sentence changed everything. You say you want to do business, But you’re not ready to take a small risk. You want to grow big — but not start small. You want to lead — but won’t learn sales. Every business starts with sales. Every leader starts as a doer. If you can’t believe in yourself for 3 months, Then how will anyone else believe in your long-term vision? If you want to build a business — you must first become a salesman. You need courage. You need to take risks. That’s the real test of commitment.
